The father of 916 dies at the age of 71.
Born in 1943, Massimo Tamburini was an authetic artist and a visionaire that after a crash in Quercia di Misano started to modify his MV Agusta 600 Turismo 4c making it the first special.
In mid 80's, Castiglioni offered him a place ar Cagica, which, at that time, owned Ducati. Here was the place where Tamburini started a big part of the legend that Ducati is today.
First it came the 851, then the 888 and finaly.. the iconic 916 an imortal bike.
